Crisis Hotlines

If you are feeling overwhelmed and require immediate attention you can contact the following for 24-hour support:

  • The Crisis Hotline of Buffalo and Erie County is available by phone at 716-834-3131.
  • The Crisis Text Line is free and the number will not appear on a phone bill. Text: “GOT5” to 741-741.
  • The National Grad Crisis Line is available via phone and Skype at 1-877-472-3457.

If you would like to report a non-emergency fellow student who may be distressed, or whose behavior is concerning to you because it is disruptive or disturbing, please visit the Students in Distress page on the Student Life Gateway.
