* The Entrepreneurship Lab is a hands-on, 3-credit course that equips you with the skills to develop, launch and manage a successful new venture. eLab is for students who have entrepreneurial ideas but need help developing them prior to venture creation. If you need to work in a team, you should have yours formed before taking the course. Open to students from all disciplines and degree programs

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program is a highly competitive program that encourages small businesses to engage in federal research and research and development that have the potential for commercialization. The SBIR funding program is structured in three phases.
The Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) is another program that expands funding opportunities in the federal innovation research and development arena, bridging the gap between basic science and the commercialization of resulting innovations. In the phase I and phase II stages, small businesses are required to formally collaborate with a research institution.
SCORE is a small business counseling organization. Since 1964, SCORE’s experienced business mentors have been providing general advice on every aspect of business planning, launching, management and growth.
Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) provide a great range of technical assistance to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. SBDCs support business growth and sustainability and enhancing the creation of new businesses entities, thereby fostering local and regional economic development through job creation and retention.
